Black Mountain Off-Road Park & Black Mountain Thunder Zipline — Attraction in Kentucky

I am just now finding out about this place, AND TO BEAT IT ALL I LIVE IN HARLAN COUNTY LOL. This place is located in Evarts Ky and was completed in August of 2011 I believe it said. From all of the pictures I seen it looks like IT WOULD BE A AWESOME EXPERIENCE!! I DO PLAN ON TAKING MY FAMILY AND HAVING A AWESOME TIME. This is part of the Black Mountain Off Road Adventure Area, which I have heard of. Black Mountain Thunder Zipline offers a 2 hour canopy tour that I'd love to take my family on. You check in at the Evarts trailhead office and general store before taking off on a 2 hour, 2 mile canopy tour at speeds up to 60 mph and heights up to 400 feet off of the ground. Family of 5 (ages 16, 19, 23, 25 and 45) went on a Friday (day after Thanksgiving) and LOVED it! We can"t say enough wonderful things about our guides, Mike and Joseph. They both were very informative and worked very hard to keep all parties safe. They were very knowledgeable about Black Mountain Thunder and shared fun facts along the way which kept everyone engaged while waiting. Great place to take in the amazing beauty of the highest mountains in Kentucky. Take a tour or just ride your ATV's on your own and ride the Zip line that is hung high above the forest. You have the options to camp out with the wildlife or rent cabins or rental homes. Take in all the wildlife such as Black Bears, Elk, Deer, Turkey, Lynx's, Bobcat's, Coyote's and much more.
