Camp Ernst Lake Park — Attraction in Kentucky

Nice clean and quite place to catch some fish or feed the ducks, geese, swans.... It would be a perfect place to go find shady spot and have a picnic with the family, just be sure to take a blanket or two because you don't get to hangout and see that many birds around you without a price..... They leave that everywhere for you without discrepancy or respect to your little "camp/picnic/fishing spot".

May also be something to note that the street you come in on and park on the side of is directly next to the lake so there can be as little as 10 feet to get from your car door to the water if you are not as mobile as others or if you need wheelchair access. Asking with small parking lot next to the boat ramp.... (I am not sure what the rules and regulations are for boats here or if public boats are even aloud on the lake. )

This is just speculation but I believe it's "Camp Ernst" that is set up on the opposite side of the lake with some water sports and amusement rides/ structures to go with nice looking huts just across the lake. I just assumed this since the next street down the hill is the old "Camp Ernst" entrance I used 20+ years ago, but again this is just a guess but someone has a very nice setup over there and looks like some serious fun to be had to the KID IN ME....which is MOST OF ME, still....(wife is nodding and smiling in the...

Should be called Camp Ernst Lake park. The lake is officially 22 acres, and is supposed to be electric trolling motor only. Camp Ernst is on the far side of the lake and has decided that they can run a jet ski towing a bunch of kids every day during the summer months. This makes fishing a challenge as they create quite a wake using the jet ski to tow the large float. There isn't much parking, but there is a boat launch area with room to park about five cars with trailers. Other than that, you have to pull off the road that runs through the park, and try to find somewhere level to park . This becomes quite difficult during soccer season. Very beautiful park for sunsets in the evening. This park lies near to Florence Kentucky. As it’s the lake park all the activities around the lake, they have activities like boating, kayaking and slide. I have seen lot of people do fishing on this lake.
