Crume Haven Winery — Attraction in Kentucky

My boyfriend and I went to Milla Nova last weekend for a wine tasting. This space was beautiful, but our wine tasting experience was less than ideal. We each received four complementary tastings, which was great. However, the woman serving us started out by saying that she had just put lotion on her hands, so she was sorry for the greasy marks she was leaving on the glasses. That didn't bother me as much as the overwhelming smell of lotion and perfume that made it impossible for me to experience the nose of any of the wines she poured for us. Then, while we were drinking and taking notes, she started spraying windex on the nearby tables and the other side of the counter, once again impeding the tasting experience. All my wines tasted like lotion and cleaning solution! Finally, they had the TV blasting some action movie, to the point that we couldn't hear one another. Thought we would give this winery a second try. First time we went there, there was was an old man sitting at the bar. We filled out our flight tasting sheet. He yelled at us 10 minutes later, "come get your wines". We had to go get our flights from him. Took them back. He never asked us if we needed anything or offered any assistance. 4 months later we decided to try again. Walked in and they responded, we are closed. It is on our website. No it wasn't! It was on your facebook which we found from another person. Not everyone has facebook. Don't waste your time with this winery. Go to Brooks Hill, Wight Meyer, or...

I don't often leave reviews, but I do read them before going to a new winery (new for me). First of all, I read the review about the tasting being served in Dixie cups, among others. I don't know why they were served their tasting that way, but we got ours in small glasses. The wine was good and the staff was nice. I'm glad I read several reviews and went to judge for myself. their their tasting that way, but that was not how our tasting went. We had fun and it was a beautiful day.
