England Idlewild Park — Attraction in Kentucky

Awesome park, tons of room for everything from one of the Top Frisbee golf course in the country (I believe it's the #1 ranked course actually.... but that's just what some of the F-golfers told me with confidence).

Nice playground for the kids that's fenced in next to 2 full court Basketball courts, 2 lakes/ponds that allows fishing (I think it's allowed, lol). Good sized dog park directly next door that seems to be a busy place.

Lots of soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, open fields, even a pretty large and ranked up bmx course which sees some RC vehicles flying over them some of the time! Large walking and workout trails around the whole park, most trails are concrete or blacktop, flat, and easily accessible...

My husband I enjoy walking this park. It has a lot of trails you can just get lost in. We take our dog and plan to spend several hours exploring. I like taking pictures of the wildflowers and taking in natures beauty while the boys blaze up and down the trails. There are hills, creeks, bridges and miles of trails to meander along. There are paved areas to walk or dirt trails. It’s set for walking or biking. Love this park aside from the playground. Namely the big black tube installed in place of the see-saw. I'm not sure what the purpose of it is, but I jumped off of it and tore my ACL, so I'm definitely not a fan. However, the trails, fields and ponds are amazing and the park is very well maintained! There are a plethora of amenities and the Frisbee golf course is one of the very best in the area. The dog park is fantastic as well and I will definitely regularly attend this park, but would steer clear of the playground if your joints...
