Schoolyard Winery — Attraction in Kentucky

Super fun group and great wines! We stopped in on our ‘self-guided’ winery tour- ended staying until closing. Gary, the wine maker, was very friendly, everyone in the place was super friendly! It felt like hanging out with good friends. Gary’s wines are really fantastic. He has a number of varieties that are not listed on the webpage. Being from out of state, we can’t come back next week. This place was an absolute treat. Fantastic wine that is crafted by an individual whose passion comes through in the complex and rich flavors of the cleverly named wines they offer. Leaving the main bar area, you find yourself in an almost whimsy collection of knick knacks and family photos that makes you feel nostalgic for a simpler time. Highly recommend...
