Mississippi Welcome Center — Attraction in Kentwood

My family and I stopped k there because of the hurricane and we was low on gas when my aunt went to change clothes and freshen up a little bit from driving for 9 hrs. we was informed by the boss Mrs Patricia that it was unsanitary to do such in a reast room so as we were put our stuff back in a bag I noticed that my aunt had a pice of Carmel candy stuck in her hair so I told her I would cut it out Mrs Patricia made a big deal of it and went as far as getting the security guard to put us out because it was unsanitary to do so in a bathroom we even cleaned the bathroom our self so the staff would have to,that was not good enough so she wanted us to leave her premises because we had stayed the night there and she had a problem with that. security staff was very helpful and kind and understanding as far as our circumstances and told us we was no problem so mrs Patricia made it her business to make problem for the security staff,in all this I have had,2 seizures because of all the stress she caused, the only helpful and kind people there are the security guards and I would like to thank Mr Norman, Mr McMillan and the lady security guard thank you for your help and support and understanding as far as the travel center staff it's self I hope and pray nobody will ever be as rude none companioned to you all as y'all have been to us and thank you for calling the pike county sheriff's office which was very helpful and kind as well, just like the lieutenant advised us he couldn't make us leave but it was probably for our best interest that we do so ,so there for I advise everyone else the same that might think about...

I stop here a lot to stretch before driving for anither few hours. The guards are always visible and friendly. The workers inside are very pleasant and always wantinf to know if they can be of assistance. However, that being said, I was highly disappointed with tge ladies room this time. One door stall was completely gone! The water in the big faucets had signs saying out of order on them, and the stall I chose to go in (because it was the only one available) the door lock was completely broken off. Other than being disappointed with the restroom, everything else looked nice. The grounds are kept clean and the drink machines worked fine. I will stop back in 2 weeks to see if they fixed the issues with the restroom. If they did I will...

We travel as often as possible, and we prefer to de drive if it's a destination less than 12 hrs drive. A tradition that began with my grandparents.
