First time here. Will return. Took a day for me to figure out a pattern, but once I did the fishing was good. Water was Crystal clear with a tannic stain from all of the cypress around the lake. Good lake for fishing and pleasure boating.

The water quality of this large lake is amazing! We've enjoyed boating here several times and the water always feels and even smells amazing! There are also some nice areas of undeveloped shoreline giving it a very natural feel.

First time here. Will return. Took a day for me to figure out a pattern, but once I did the fishing was good. Water was Crystal clear with a tannic stain from all of the cypress around the lake. Good lake for fishing and pleasure boating.

Nice lake. Good for boating, fishing or skiing. There are several free boat ramps, one with a picnic area and playground.

Ok for swimming but the water is stained with tannin so visibility is near zero.

Many aquatic and wading birds as well as turtles and otters. Ive never seen or heard an alligator in the lake but I'm sure it has...

The Boat ramp was decent enough, but we didn't catch bass on the day we fished there. They just were not on, so that was our disappointment. Enjoyed the beauty of the cypress trees and nature though, not to forget the warmth...
