Definitely a field of boulders. I would strongly advise anyone visiting to DRIVE SLOW? The gravel road that leads you there is full of potholes, and you can definitely break an axle if you're not paying attention and drive too fast. Also, be very careful if you walk in the field. Those are natural formations and you can get an ankle caught between the rocks.

We did multiple trails and trips the day we visited the Pocono’s and boulder field did not disappoint. What a truly amazing natural formation in nature and I’m glad I got to see it first hand. Lots and lots of rocks, and also be careful there is some big spiders calling their home underneath some of them!

Hiked the 7.9 trek thru the Pine forest and narrow pathways thru the mountain laurel. Lots of rocks and roots on the trail so comfortable shoes recommended. Only sounds were the birds and the wind in the trees. A great hike if you are seeking peace.

This was an awesome sight to visit. We were in for a lunch and stopped for a picnic by the lake. The drive to the boulder field seems stupidly long, but once you get there you’ll forget about it. You can explore the boulders at your leisure—and at your own risk. Bring sunscreen and maybe a hiking stick. It’s a unique...
