Having visited this dam multiple times it is always a surprise when you drive down the hill to find where the water level is at for that visit. This time it was full and flow through the water gates feeding the Leigh River and offered great photo opportunities. If you're a picnicker, fisher person, boater, playing 'fetch' with your dog or other type of water user you'll love the expanse of the lake behind the dam enjoying the peace and tranquility this place has to offer. Came here on a whim, and was not dissapointed. There can be a lot to do here on a summer day. I came on a mild / colder day and witnessed the dam water table about halfway drained. It was neat to explore, though I would like to explore more when it is lower. Plenty of picnic tables and parking spaces, and seems to be a spot for local fishing. Ill have to try catfishing here in the summer time, while camping somewhere nearby. Check it out, I dont think many would be...

I've been fishing this dam for years, I fish it at least 15 to 25 times a year. I have several yearly records and awards from this dam. Have even had article's written about me in the Pocono record 2x and the Wilksbare Times Leader 1x for fishing this dam. A great place to fish. Very healthy popilation. Very clean. Access is a little difficult but other than that a very nice fishing spot. Check out pictures of Master Angler Joseph Zajko with chain pickerel,...

I've been fishing this dam for years, I fish it at least 15 to 25 times a year. I have several yearly records and awards from this dam. Have even had article's written about me in the Pocono record 2x and the Wilksbare Times Leader 1x for fishing this dam. A great place to fish. Very healthy popilation. Very clean. Access is a little difficult but other than that a very nice fishing spot. Check out pictures of Master Angler Joseph Zajko with chain pickerel, crappies and bass.
