I love Dug In Farms. They have a wonderful variety of veggies and gourmet treats at their farmstand. They even cater to vegans. They sell beautiful plants, including native plants, and seeds and there's a big flower field adjacent to the farm-stand and you can pick your own flowers. I brought my bucket and clippers and picked some gorgeous sunflowers, Cosmos, and Zinnias. There was a sea of beautiful flowers there, and I loved being in the middle of it. Today we also picked up some Dark Chocolate Biscotti, some local honey, paw paws, peppers, and some Northern Neck Ginger Beer. I can't recommend it it enough, it's a wonderful place. 😊

Everyone would be so lucky to have Carolyn as their local farmer. She practices local, sustainable growing practices. She is about making her farm work to the best of it's capacity, producing quality produce, and caring her customers. If you are in the neighborhood definitely swing by to say hi, and pick up some fresh veggies. If you go in the later after you'll get to meet Doug the adorable Australian cattle dog. He's barking is his way of saying hello to you.

This charming farmer’s market is worth the stop. I love to check out the fresh produce and gourmet items. Plus the fresh cut sunflowers are beautiful and make great additions to your floral arrangements. In addition, they have the best fresh sweet corn. My friends always request me to bring extra ears home!

Dug In Farms is an absolute treasure. The owner and staff are delightful, helpful and have a special flare for top notch customer service. The market is in the front with a working farm behind. You will find locally grown seasonal produce and a specially curated selection of locally made baked goods, cheeses, dairy, meats, eggs, prepared foods and other kitchen staples. They even have unique gift items like market baskets made in Ghana. Whether you live in the area or are “down” for the weekend I highly recommend supporting Dug In Farms. They are open seven days a week from 9-6 making it easy to add them to your weekly grocery shopping. They close briefly during the winter but you can still pick up what you need by ordering and picking up at the farm once a week. Dug In Farms feeds my passion for connecting to my food and getting to look into the eyes of the farmer who...

Excellent service - we continue to return to Dug In for fresh seasonal goodies and plants. We purchased blueberry bushes over the summer and were looking at native trees. We have also purchased ferns and herbs. On several occasions a staff member helped guide our choices and demonstrated obvious knowledge about plants and landscaping. Just a very well-run farm/establishment that is consistently open and reliable for quality and service. We enjoyed blueberries from our bushes 1st year and are hopeful for...
