This is undeveloped property and should really be called a state game area. There are no published trails and I am wildly guessing, it's mostly used as a local fishing and hunting area. There's farmland between the lake and the entrance and no visible trails. There are absolutely no signs announcing the park on the roadways (I guess that's good so more visitors won't be disappointed). There's a tiny parking area and just a DNR sign. There's no lake access via trail. You would have to follow hunting trails and wear Orange if you do. Visitors beware if you are not a hunter, most reviews here are about the lake accessed via other means and not...

If you dont have a boat it's a nice place to fish the shore and drop off but you have take a long walk to reach it, but sometimes...

However, if you're willing to overlook these shortcomings, the park's untouched wilderness and wildlife make for a serene and immersive...
