Now that the playgrounds are fixed, the park is better. 2 playgrounds, disc golf course, 3 pavilions, pickleball courts, baseball diamond all good. Basketball courts could use a little work. Has water spigots kids and dogs can use or to rinse cups, etc. The only negatives I have found is the state of the restrooms and number of outlets. One other thing is the parking, people can be inconsiderate when unloading at the fence entrances, just leaving their vehicle in front (not parking spots) but hey that happens everywhere right?! I dont expect much from park restrooms, and can only speak on the women's but the latch on one door is broken and the main door would not shut all the way; I was very nervous for children going in there. The Pavillions have 2 boxes with 4 plugs total. I wish there were more and on both sides of the Pavillion. All in all worth holding a party or coming by when it's not scorching hot, or do I just don't like the heat. It usually does get a small breeze through the first two...
Read moreI really like this park, there's plenty of space so no matter how many folks and families are out there you always have room for activities. There's plenty of space for kids to play from swings, jungle gyms, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields and even a walking/ running trail around the area. Across the field they're working on opening again the batting cages so that'll be nice to have too.
Biggest down side is the bathrooms, I've been inside a couple of times especially towards the end of the day and they're usually disgusting. I know its not the people who run the parks fault but the ill mannered folks who destroy it. Just wish it wasn't as disgusting as they get, from people literally using the bathroom on the floor.....if not I would...
Read moreWhat a wonderful little perk! This place is a gem. I would give it a five-star instead of four except the ladies room has doors that won't lock. You can't say that it's emergency that makes them that way because anyone could easily slide underneath the door LOL. Anyway, it's pretty bump proof and fun for all ages to enjoy the playground equipment. Not to mention it's a super place for a kid's birthday party! Covered picnic areas and plenty of picnic tables, we watched girls pitch softball as well and then a group of kids showed up and went over and started shooting baskets while the little ones we were with had a blast. This park...
