Absolutely the best local farm I’ve visited in Georgia!

Yes, it may not be the biggest farm out there, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in heart. You can truly feel the love and care the farmers put into what they grow, and their customer service is outstanding. Please make the trip to support them — local farmers need our help to keep their beautiful work alive and thriving!

✨ The strawberries? Incredible! Juicy, sweet, and full of flavor — exactly how strawberries are meant to taste. I absolutely love fresh produce, and for me, quality like this is everything.

Today I picked up potatoes, onions, and strawberries — and paid just $30 in total. Totally worth it! They also had fresh blueberries and honey for sale, which looked amazing.

🧺 The farm provides baskets for $1, which you take home with your strawberries — super convenient! And if you bring your basket back next time, you’ll get a $1 credit. Love that kind of thoughtful detail.

If you’d like to pick your own potatoes, I recommend bringing garden gloves — your hands might get dirty, but it’s a fun and rewarding experience!

📵 One little heads-up: cell service is a bit spotty in the area, so plan your route ahead of time — I got a little lost on my first visit!

💡 And don’t be discouraged if Google shows them as “temporarily closed.” That’s not always accurate! Just follow their Facebook page — that’s where they post their hours and picking days. It’s totally worth keeping an eye on!

I’m especially grateful to the owner, who personally offered to help me harvest potatoes and onions. That kind of genuine care and kindness is rare — it left such a warm impression on me. People like that make you want to come back… and tell everyone you know!

I’m just blown away by this place and its incredible owners. Can’t wait for my next visit!...

Merck Farms is beyond comparison. They are inviting and some of the nicest people around. The strawberry patch was very enjoyable and the kids loved being able to pick their own strawberries. The pricing is affordable for all and they offer a discount if you reuse your basket. If you've yet to go be sure to plan your...

This place is a great local farm to go and pick your own fruit or vegetables. Make sure to go early in the day before it all gets picked. Their hours are constantly changing depending on weather and what is ready to be picked, so make sure you check out their Facebook page. The picking is adult and...

Had a great time with my children picking berries here this morning! We can't wait to make jam with our strawberries and we will be back soon. The staff were so friendly, even volunteering to take a picture for us. They had restrooms for the littles and the whole experience was just picturesque!
