This is another one of the hidden gems of Harford County. At a little over 7 miles with just enough elevation to get the heart pumping is a good trail to get through at a faster pace. There are plenty of trees covering the entire route so you should be good going any time of the day. There are a few gnats along the way but nothing too crazy for this time of the year. Along the river portions there were lots of opportunities to snap a few pictures. Read moreThe falls is a nice place. However I have not hiked this area. I helped out two young women from Brooklyn New York who were lost. They had hiked ending up on old Harford Road by the bike trail. Their GPS navigation was not working or picking up a signal. They looked scared but thankfully trusted me enough to drive them back to the parking lot on Belair Road. A good Samaritan was actually helping out my husband who was changing a tire on his truck in this bike lot.
