Shingle Creek Trail: Pine Island East Loop — Attraction in Kissimmee

Like the other reviews have said the location is wrong at the moment. But if you park along Tarragona you can comfortably walk to the start of the trails. I have gone twice now, both times I've seen wildlife and many beautiful plants. I did encounter rude cyclists this time. They would pass you and not say anything like "on your left". This is one of my favorite trails in central Florida. We park behind the hunters creek middle school (only accessible when school is not in session). We enter on the far right section, cross the bridge, and go right. Once you leave the wooded area you make a left and continue down until you reach the trail entrance. The massive influx of disrespectful people on the trail over the last few years has had a horrible effect on this place. Trash along the trails, less than half as much wildlife as there was a few years ago and the trails/plants look more run down. Really depressing to have to watch all this happen over time to what is essentially the last sanctuary for wildlife...
