This is a nice area to walk around for a little while. I was there since I was staying in nearby Amesbury MA for work the night before and after. Technically I don't think I should've been in Maine since I didn't really quarantine. But if you are just looking to take a walk on your own, then there should be no problems. Although it wasn't very fun to get eaten alive by mosquitoes. Don't be like me. Bring bug spray.

Great hiking loop with an opportunity to see some great views and native wildlife. Relatively easy and possible for all ages. Very family friendly. Seems to be dog friendly as well. Can be difficult to traverse in the middle of winter due to parts of the trail that get iced over. Muddy as expected in spring. Dress accordingly.

This is an unbelievable walk that can be done in about an hour. I would say less but that would mean you would miss the fantastic views and experience. Plan to really enjoy this!

We walked most of the trail on our way to a memorial service nearby. Time was limited so we could not make it all the way out to the end. Part of the trail parallels a wetland which must be a fine place for birders other than at midday on a hot July scorcher. I was surprised to find no blazes on the trees nor much in the way of signage. A bit more maintenance would go a long way to...
