This was my favorite part of my first trip to Crater Lake. You get to walk across flagstones that have water flowing over them. The hike is short. 0.4 miles.Went 2 times! There is a creek, a meadow and forest to walk through. Something for everyone! I really loved all of the moss they had around here and in other areas surrounding the trail. I imagine once summer really starts the wildflowers are going to be even...

This could be abnormal, but the MASSIVE MOSQUITOES were so bad July 5th that we couldn’t get ourselves to go very far. I was super disappointed and frustrated despite my strong bugspray due to literally dozens biting my legs through leggings in mere seconds! Not enjoyable at all. Be warned! Maybe it’s an especially bad season or the norm, but I would not recommend even attempting without the best bugspray and...

Wonderful short little trail that is definitely worth the stop. It has tons of wildflowers and many little streams running from the mountain. It can be a little muddy, but there are rocks, bridges, and paths to step on. It connects to the visitors center with a short trail threw tall cedars. Beautiful on a sunny day.
