Yellow River Farms — Attraction in Knox

Employees were very rude. If you're trying to go with your kids during Fall Break during the week, don't bother. They refuse to let anyone who isn't part of a "school group" do any of the paid activities such as riding the tractor back to the patch to pick a pumpkin on a weekday. They told my 2 and a half year old that she had to get out and couldn't ride the barrel tractor ride because she wasn't part of a school group, which is advertised nowhere. It is advertised on a very tiny part of their website and is impossible to find unless you were looking for it. I was told by an employee, quite rudely, that the pumpkin sigh says "weekends only" however, this sign only address where to pay for the pumpkins on weekends. Someone coming here for the first time would not know this also meant they refuse customers when it's not...

Took the kids here to get Pumpkins for Halloween, and was overall very impressed.

The location was able to do a lot of cool and fun stuff in a limited space, and was very creative in their entertainment. While it was mostly targeted towards kids with a hay playland and a corn pit, the pumpkin cannon was nothing to sneeze at.

While the "haunted hayride" out to the pumpkin patch was kind of bleh, it did exactly what it was intended to do with giving kids a safe and enjoyable place to have fun and pick pumpkins.

My biggest complaint overall was the insane pricing on food, was not expecting to pay almost $10 for a burger. But thankfully that was not why we were their.

We have been taking my mom and her great grandkids there for many years. We thought it was great until this year. There handicapped parking was full. Three out of 10 handicapped cars had a handicapped plate/sign on the car. We pulled in and stopped to get my mom out of the car since there wasnt any handicapped spots, the parking attendants screamed at us to move. It took us less then 2 minutes to get my mom out of the car. My mom is dying from lung and brain cancer. I went in to complain and the parking attendant yelled at me again and told me I had to move.
