Nature Megaphone Experience 🌲🔊
Venture inside the captivating Nature Megaphone, a concept inspired by similar installations in Estonia. Constructed by the Petoskey High School Building Trades class with donated wood from The Home Depot, this unique structure was completed in May 2019.
🔊 Using the Megaphone: Step inside, lay still, and embrace the serenity. The megaphone's design enhances the natural sounds filtering in, allowing you to immerse yourself more deeply in your surroundings.

Read moreWe enjoyed a quiet Saturday stroll on Agnes S. Andreae Nature Preserve in October to enjoy the fall colors. While the megaphone is the main attraction, we were amazed by the landscape and sightseen of the area. The trail goes along the Pigeon River, which offers a few lovely elevated views.
There is a non-paved parking lot that can accommodate around 8 vehicles, with a map and information to plan your route. The trails are perfectly identified with a map at each stop. As far as I could see, there were no restrooms in the area.
The trail is good to walk with kids (+5 years and older) and pets. It does offer a few mild challenges. Hiking poles are not needed but highly recommended. I look forward to revisiting this hidden gem...
