Fort Fisher — Attraction in Kure Beach

Favorite area in New Hanover County. Only issue I have is the free parking. While I love the free parking, it brings a lower quality of tourists. All summer long I see a ridiculous amount of Bs occur on the southend. The biggest issue with the lower quality of tourists is the trash. They leave tons of trash on southern. And in the surrounding areas. Often it's very disgusting stuff like dirty diapers. All in all, it's a ton of disrespect to the locals and to one of the prettiest natural areas in all of NC....

Should I tell? Definitely less crowded than Wrightsville Beach where we could not find a parking place, drove around in circles for 45 minutes then decided to drive down to Fort Fisher and was able to get a parking place immediately upon arriving .
