This is decent stadium 🏟 that Hayes Highschool plays at. The concessions at the stadium are extremely difficult to get 😕 too and therefore I didn't get anything 😕. When I got there to get my ticket I had to scan a QR code and log in to be able to purchase a ticket and pay a convince fee. Where are the days of paying cash 💸 💰 for your ticket 🎟 and walking 🚶♀️ right in? When the referee would make a call 📞 the PA system was sooo bad you couldn't even hear what he was saying. It was 🏡 homecoming for Hayes Highschool and of course the jinx got them and they lost to San Marcos Highschool. The game was really good and both teams played extremely hard and the fans were definitely involved in the game. So check ✔ out this stadium 🏟 if your in the area and safe...
Read moreMy first visit here and it wasn't clear where visitors or home were ro park. I parked on home side and was told I needed to move. I get to security check of bag and in my clear bag I had a bell, was told I couldn't bring it in and walk ALL the way back to the car, half way there the same woman followed me to say I could take it in. The lady security at the mid gate gave me grief about needing to walk out and come back in the visitor entrance if I needed to access home bleachers. Finally, walking in and our band is unloading and 2 parents helping had maybe a 8-9 year old accompanying them, the older security guy said the 2 children couldn't be there, parent said, I'm not sitting them out of my sight... which I agree! The children were well...
Read moreDecent stadium. On the older side. They have free wifi, which is nice. Concessions has good food for a reasonable price. No stadium seating. Only the top few rows of the home side have backs to the bleachers. Parking can be an issue for well attended events. There's not a lot of parking lot so you end up parking on the street, sometimes can be a quarter mile away (again, that's for big games). I've never been for a track meet so not sure how well suited it is for that. The scoreboard is basic - no video screen or anything. Hays and Lehman high schools both play varsity football herr so there's always a football game Friday nights during the season. Johnson HS just opened so no sure if they'll play their varsity games at Shelton...
