This place is plain flat with many to see, and there's three lakes with wild life. The freeze killed some Plantation but there growing. Today was very windy as when we reached the restroom entrance towards the Pavilion, mosquitoes were in the restroom protecting from the wind which it was closed,yikes. I would guess when no wind and good weather it's game on with mosquitoes bites. The walk was nice around the three lakes and many huts with benches to sit. The pavilion was nicer to be, no mosquitoes because of windy day. Oh must see hawks flying for the hunt and i belived we saw a skeleton fish eaten by a hawk. See pic. Branches, tree stumps and thick vegetation align the perimeter of the lake not easily access to lake's edge. La feria drainage is also there.    Read moreNice little secluded corner of the city. There is large pond with fish and birds. There are two "trails", a 1 mile loop and a shorter swirl near the swings and slides. Restrooms are available. Although it is a nature center, most of us like to use it as a running/waking trail.
