Faul Family Riverside Farm — Attraction in La Grange

The open air venue was charming and beautiful. The outdoor ceremony was set up to face the sunset which made for a romantic atmosphere for my son & daughter-in-laws wedding.

The location was easy to find and the drive there was accessible.

The bridal suite bedroom was pretty and decorated to fit the vibe of a historical farmhouse.

I had a few concerns during the event as you could clearly hear there was someones children crying in the upstairs, the downstairs living room area in which was to be used for the groom, groomsmen & family hangout space was dirty with dust all over the homeowners very personalized items, the decorations looked like things you would find at the market in a foreign country not really anything conducive to completing a historic home. The air was not equipped nor adequate for 15 people to be in a living room together. There were no instructions on how to use the small air unit and we had to figure it out on our own.

The people upstairs started cooking as we could smell it in the home. A few people in the wedding party have alpha gal & allergies to airborne foods so that was not good. If seemed as if the house was not really a bridal suite. It was more like an extra room rented out of someone’s personal living quarters.

The Faul family has a multi-faceted gem here! I've had the chicken - it's awesome! But even more awesome is the newly renovated event space. My daughter just got married here, and the venue was fabulous! It's a rustic barn that's pretty to start; but the setup for decorations, dancing and a full meal is perfect. The Fauls just recently completed installation of nicely appointed bathrooms next to the barn, and made upgrades to an already fully functional on-site kitchen. The barn has high rafters and open walls on two sides, with the option to cover the side that typically gets the wind. The view outside the barn over the sprawling farm is beautiful as well - lots of room for parking and outdoor ceremonies like ours. The Faul family is new to event hosting, but you'd do well to sign up early ..... it's going to become a popular spot! (And of course, congrats to Caitlyn...

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding shower!! This location was absolutely fantastic and even the guests constantly complimented how nice the barn was. The owners were very kind and accomodated to our needs. And what could be better than to have natural eggs for gift favors? Everybody had a smile on their face and this venue was spectacular!! Would highly recommend...
