The rabbits here seem unafraid. Watch out for rattlesnakes. The trail was exposed to the sun in the first section going up and a lot of flies from the horse droppings, but I would visit again and see where the other trails connect and to see how the mustard plants have grown. Parking was on the street by the Water and Power facility. There was a portapotty at the end of the trail near where the horses are staged. There were too many people to take photos of some sense spots....

If you want a workout, go to your left, you will eventually get to the intersection with Powder Canyon Trail, turn to your right, when you get to Purple Sage Trail turn to your left and go all the way up. I did this up and back, there is very little shade, so be prepared with a hat and don't go at noon. It took me about 2 hours, and 5 miles approx. Plenty of flowers...
