One of the best hiking trails in LA. Beautiful views in every direction once you get high enough. There are two ways up the mountain so you can go a different way coming up, than down. Super clean trail, didn't see a single piece of trash. Felt very safe. Went on Saturday and there were other people on the trail too, but definitely not crowded. Saw birds, hares, squirrels, nothing bigger than that too. Very fun hike but a little tiring and steep on some parts. Spent about 3-4 hours. Definitely worth the $7 to park, but you can also park nearby and just walk to the park if you're local.

Worth the hike! Very relaxing when u reach top! Great view, you can see part of L.A buildings, a 360 of the San Gabriel mountains, and surrounding. On the opposite lookout, you can see O.C county and nearby cities.Great view to watch a sunset, and not to mention the scent of eucalyptus is just so refreshing!

Saw rabbits, a hawk, a coyote, and some birds on a foggy, morning hike. It’s about 5 miles up and down from the front park entrance up to the radio towers.

This park has rolling hills and multiple trailheads that link into the Skyline Trail. Spring brings wildflowers and it smells amazing after rain. There are picnic shelters if you’re meeting a group. The trails can get hot in summer, so bring plenty of water. Views of the San Gabriels are a nice payoff...
