This is a great location and has so many perks. There are an ample number of restrooms making this playground perfect for large families or gatherings. The play area is surrounded by a fence with a gate so smaller children cannot just run into the parking lot. There are many different types of swings! There is one for parents to swing with their baby, one for people to swing in their wheelchair and a few others for small and big children. If you go during snow or rainy seasons make sure to dress your little ones in rain boots because it can be muddy especially under the Slides and around the ocean themed merry go round.

A beautifully kept park with multiple sports field. We came for a baseball tournament and had plenty of parking. The restroom facilities were basic but clean. There is a large playground suitable for multiple age groups, but is not immediately next to the sports fields. There is also a nice walking trail around the perimeter!

Enjoyed our walk at this park, and used one of the empty fields to play a little volleyball with my son. This time of year, it is best to go out early in the AM before the humidity comes out. There are lots of trees on the path, which gives shade while walking or running.

Very nice park, I like taking the grandchild there. However today I noticed that the little blue car that bounces was caution taped. I explained to my granddaughter that it meant to stay away that there was a problem with it. As the morning went on several other kids came, with parents of course, but when they went to the little blue car they decided it was okay to tear all of the caution tape off and play on the little blue car anyway. You would think that as parents you would have told them it was unsafe. But it didn't seem like any of them really cared. I my comment is ...do not tape up a ride or slide or a swing or anything else. If it's dangerous fix it or remove it because eventually someone is going...

This is the best and largest playground in the area. There is also a hidden trail behind the first parking lot and it leads to Tilghman Lake Park, which is very beautiful and peaceful, with a trail loop of just over a mile so it is a nice walk.

Edited March 2023 this park is fast falling into disrepair. The playground is becoming dangerous and the broken slides have been blocked off with plywood for over a year. I have seen multiple children trampled using the blue plastic carousel with no handles. Its frankly dangerous and you are better off driving another 7-10 miles and playing at...
