A Delightful Autumn Adventure!
Walden Farms Pumpkin Farm in Smyrna, Tennessee, is an absolute must-visit during the fall season! I recently had the pleasure of exploring this wonderful pumpkin patch, and it exceeded all expectations, earning a well-deserved five-star rating.
The sprawling pumpkin patch offers a charming, rustic atmosphere that's perfect for embracing the autumn spirit. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the vibrant display of pumpkins in various shapes and sizes, providing an endless array of choices for creating the perfect fall decor or carving masterpiece.
The activities and attractions for both kids and adults were superb. The hayrides were a delightful way to take in the beautiful scenery, and the corn maze was challenging yet enjoyable. The petting zoo was a hit with the little ones, and the freshly made apple cider and pumpkin treats were simply delicious.
The friendly and attentive staff made the experience even better, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable visit. Walden Farms Pumpkin Patch is undoubtedly a fantastic destination for autumn festivities, and I'll be returning next year...
Read moreI never leave reviews but I am going to take the time for this one. We moved to TN last year and always heard of great reviews about this particular pumpkin patch. I can honestly tell you that I was greatly disappointed. We have a 9 and 6 year old. Maybe they were too old for this event. Unfortunately, we went on a slightly windy day so the amount of dirt in our hair, on clothes and shoes made me feel gross the whole time. The corn maze was underwhelming. I think the hayride was the most disappointing. $4 per person and there was not much to look at. We sat to the left side and for the first half of the ride we saw trees and then on the way back we saw random decorations and painted hay to look like pigs and Olof. There were sparse “ghosts” in the trees and at one point my daughter pointed at “another ghost” which only turned out to be an old grocery bag. We love family events and are typically not critical. But this one was overrated in my opinion. When people say it’s a “hidden gem”… I am confused. Definitely has a lot of potential but not enough for us to ever return. If you have younger ones… this could be a fun...
Read moreWe came today on (Oct 20th). Its a Sunday so doesn't open until 12..we thought maybe wait until 1ish for it to calm down a little bit. This year was definitely different with everyone HAVING to purchase a wristband even if you aren't doing any of the activities. The front gate was full i guess?? So we were directed towards the back field with no explanations. We had to wait in line 25 minutes to get a wristband only to get to the front and a worker tell us there's other places throughout the property that also sold wristbands. The activities for the kids are OK but everything was soooooooo crowded. We couldn't even enjoy the maze without tripping on people. The duck racing had a spout that was broken (1 out of 3). The lines for ANYTHING were outrageous. We seriously spent 2 of 3 hours there just waiting in lines. This used to be a great pumpkin patch to go to but they REALLY need to either make tickets available online or find a way for customers to be able to enjoy the time there without spending most of...
