Lowell Brandt Park — Attraction in La Verne

Kinda bland park for kids but has a pretty awesome big slide, just not a big or diverse playground/jungle gym. Has public bathrooms and is quiet and well maintained. Not often crowded, lots of people walking their dogs or out for a walk or picnickers or people using the basketball courts. Semi-scenic and peaceful, but definitely not the most scenic park in the area, by far. While I haven't seen security or PD patrols, I haven't seen any vagrants, degenerates, or shady characters here, nor any evidence (trash, graffiti, etc) of them on the parks grounds nor bathrooms or outbuildings, which is surprising for such a relatively well secluded park and parking lot. Basketball court, sand volleyball court, jungle gym, bathrooms, some little covered areas with picnic tables. The upper level of the park has a sizable soccer field or baseball field with a backstop.
