We just got married on July 19, 2025, and it was A DREAM. Truly couldnāt gave gotten married at a better place, with better people! The beautiful ceremony space drew us in, and the unique and gorgeous reception space kept us hooked!! It was amazing to get married here and I couldnāt have asked for a better day!
In a world where it costs an arm and a leg to just rent a place, Irons Mill was a godsend. Not only was the rent for the venue cheap in comparison to many, many, MANY venues in the area, but itās not just a venue rental cost. Many venues will then add on charge after charge for stuff like plating cookies or any form of coordination, but Irons Mill includes all of that in the rental! It really is the best deal for your dollar out there right now. They also pair with a caterer who is actually reasonable when it comes to food costs, and I was someone who was horrified over the concept of most venues/caterers charging over $120 per plate. Going with Irons Mill, means going with food that tastes incredible and priced within reason.
Not only is Irons Mill beautiful, reasonably priced, and has a good flow of traffic around the venue, but their staff is AMAZING. Rachelle, one of our coordinator for the day was not only was extremely sweet and helpful, but she went above and beyond with helping us set up decorations in the morning when the guys needed assistance! Natalie, one of our other coordinators and who gave us the original tour, was also a major reason we choose Irons Mill. Her personable, friendly, and knowledgable demeanor drew my husband and I in, and each venue we visited after, I would continue to say, āYeah, but they didnāt have a Natalie.ā
There was plenty of space for our guests, lots of flexibility with seating chart and decorations, lots of opportunities to photo and video around the property! The hotel nearby was very close and convenient!
Everything about the experience from beginning to end with Irons Mill and their staff was exceptional. I would give a 20/10 rating if I could! And I highly recommend this venue...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was maid of honor at my cousin's wedding. We were very excited and so pleased to be having her wedding at such a beautiful venue. It was everything she wanted and more, and certainly was (for the most part) worth the money. The catering was outstanding; probably the best wedding food I have ever had. Unfortunately, the owner, Stacey, and the employee working the wedding, Amanda, caused many problems beginning at the rehearsal and going throughout the wedding. At the rehearsal, we were approached about our music being "too loud" and that the neighbors would call the cops if we did not turn it down. The music certainly was not as loud as it could have been, and I explained to her that the bride did not want speakers in her pictures for the ceremony. Standing up where the bride and groom were to get married, the music was at the perfect volume for everyone to hear. We were not informed of the noise ordinance while looking at the venue. When I talked to the owner, she told me she was a "neighbor". She never told me she was the owner. Come the wedding day, the FATHER OF THE BRIDE was approached by Amanda AFTER WALKING DOWN THE AISLE that the music needed to be turned down. No congratulations? Just a complaint? We were not treated with respect. It ruined the days leading up and added stress that was not needed. After approaching the owner days after the wedding, she said that she was "attacked" and there was nothing she could do for us. The venue certainly was not inexpensive, paying for a fire, nachos and root beer floats, which was an add on. I am extremely disappointed in how this situation was handled. If you are looking for a wedding venue, there are many similar to this one who will actually respect their customers and not accuse their guests of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNote that this is, for all intents and purposes, a 4.75 star review, and one extremely minor change will bump it to an EMPHATIC FIVE!!! There is a 99% chance you will have a fantastic day at Irons Mill!
2023 was our first time checking out Irons Mill, and we've just found a new fall tradition! I recommend arriving early with the kids, and plan to stay the whole day - you won't regret it! So many simple but fun activities, all well thought-out and maintained. Food and drinks are delicious, with a TON of variety, and no more expensive than you'd pay at any other fair. Toddlers will love the playgrounds, slides, "corn cob beach," costume characters, and live animals... while older kids will enjoy the games, climbing gear, corn maze, and apple blasters. There are a few things for adults to enjoy, like the corn maze, game show, hay ride, and (in early fall) sunflower picking. And frankly - who couldn't use a stress-relieving apple blast along with the kiddosš... But Irons Mill is definitely kid-oriented with stuff for grown-ups, not the other way around. My only constructive criticism is that the Pappy's Kettle Corn stand had a bunch of creationism pamphlets in front of the register. Regardless of my personal beliefs, I don't believe ANY propaganda (religious or otherwise) is appropriate for a children's fun park. I hope the farm will take this into consideration, and if those pamphlets are gone the next time we visit - and there will definitely be a next time! š - I will gladly...
