Krabill Lodge — Attraction in Lafayette Township

I have rented this space for a workshop on Art Therapy. It was perfect for our needs. It has a fully functioning kitchen. It has a gas fireplace that operates at the push of a button. It has beautiful windows that look over peaceful green space. It has at least two outdoor picnic tables under great oaks where you can eat on a patio in the shade. It has an outdoor grill. It has big long table with lots of chairs so you can spread out for projects. It has excellent modern bathrooms, handicapped accessible. It has an extra private room you can go into and shut the door...still quite large for "break out" groups or whatever. It is near the lake but not too near. (Its not on the side where all the action is, but where the peaceful landscape is). There are two outdoor port -a- potties in the abundant parking space. There is a nearby pond that has fish that is available to fish from. There are some nice woods behind for exploration. It is a peaceful quiet place that is really underutilized in this area. It would be great for family reunions, wedding receptions, business retreats, and many other gatherings. Everything is modern, clean and nice and it is affordable. I can't think of a better space in the area that does what it does any better. For those who would bring in out of towners for overnights, there is a hotel at the nearby Truck stop at route 76/224 and several restaurants, including fast food and a buffet and menu place also at the truck stop. Krabill Lodge is a nice, private venue near Chippewa Lake in Medina County. It can accommodate approximately 50 - 65; possibly a few more. It is extremely clean and also has a nice view of Chippewa Lake. It has a really good blend of different rooms as well as a nice variety outdoors. It is very conversational. Feels like a mini retreat when you're there; a true private getaway feel. It's located in Medina County and has the look and feel of having traveled much further for those nearby who take advantage of it. It isn't hard to recommend Krabill Lodge. This lake is quiet and serene in the winter, but can be overly crowded in the warm months. We often see wildlife like dead, geese, and eagles in the area. It's a nice spot for a picnic and there are a few walking trails that are good for a stroll. Watch out for mosquitos in the summer, they'll carry you away in a calm night. Stop and enjoy this...
