I can give absolutely no more than 1 star. The owners started yelling at a lady who was there. The lady was a patron, who was there picking lavender flowers and taking pictures of her friends who were with her. She had a nicer camera, and the male owner went up and asked if she was a professional photographer. She said that she was and that she was visiting for the day. The guy immediately started yelling at her, saying things like, "We don't allow photographers here! Do you know how much money I have spent on this place?! People like you come in and don't even care and cut into my profits!" The lady calmly explained that she IS a photographer by profession, but she is only taking personal pictures on a day out. There was absolutely nothing wrong with what she was doing. It's not like she set up a whole photoshoot there without asking. She was just a patron who happened to have a good camera and be good at taking pictures. You would think that the owners would welcome this, as the lady would have likely posted these photos on social media, tagging the lavender place and giving them free promotion. There were no signs that said that photography was not allowed. In fact, they even had a sign that said "Tag us in your photos!" The female owner then started yelling at the lady and her friends as well. The place was filled with their constant yelling about how much money they have put into this place. I don't know about you, but it doesn't matter how good the product is (and this was honestly not that impressive of a lavender farm), I cannot support a business that has that kind of "heart" behind it. You would think that if these people are so caught up in the idea that money is far more important than people, then they would be more careful to not provoke reviews like this one and to not hurt their business by their incredibly rude actions. I was fully intending on posting about this place and promoting it to thousands of followers just to help a small business out, but I have no intention of doing that or ever going back. It is a shame that the owners have gone this long without realizing that love should fuel your actions, and people are far more important than money. I just cannot believe how they treated those people in the brief time that I had my first visit there. It was...
Read moreSuch a delightful hidden gem! We took the drive from Ringgold to check this place out, and were so pleasantly surprised. There is a small entrance fee, plus a charge per each bundle that you cut. The atmosphere is so peaceful. There is nice music playing in the background, a cute drink trailer where you can purchase lavender infused teas and lemonades. A wide variety of lavender products are available to purchase. There is an everpresent, but subtle fragrance of lavender that is so calming. There's plenty of space to bring a blanket and have a picnic, and we saw several groups enjoying that. There are folks walking around answering questions and offering to take photos of groups among the lavender, or at one of several nice, tasteful designated areas for photos. I came home with several bundles of lavender that dried nicely and still smell so wonderful. We will definitely go back...
