Jean Lafitte Harbor — Attraction in Lafitte

I took an air boat tour with Leon, and it was incredible! He was an awesome pilot, and taught us alot about the local history! I'm from Arizona, and appreciated his knowledge of the area and his skills driving the air boat! We had a blast finding gators, seeing local waterfowl, and experiencing the bayou from the inside-out! The experience was something you can only get from a local and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have an educational and exciting experience! My family of 4 (1 of which is a toddler) had the best memorial weekend stay here. Not a single minute felt wasted. There is a local dollar general less than 5 mins from the harbor - not that we even needed it. Staff was very warm and welcoming. The fishing was chefs kiss couldn’t have asked for a better turn out. Will be planning 1 more trip to the harbor before summer is over my family enjoyed it so much! The Sunset views don’t hurt either. My wife and I hosted our company’s corporate event at Jean Lafitte Harbor, and we were beyond impressed. This place is truly a hidden gem! The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. The pavilion was the perfect gathering spot for our corporate guests, offering plenty of space and a great atmosphere.
