The beach area is clean and not crowded. The gentle sandy slope upon entering water allows safe entry into the lake. The delightful warm water in the shallow helps the body adjust to the cool water pockets and the pleasantly cooler water in the deep. The swimming area is in a "cove" away from boats. There are some shade trees near the Pavilion. Some automobiles without shade parked along the shoreline for quick access to the refreshing water. Read moreIf I had to rank this boat ramp it would be 2nd in the LVPOA community. Water levels are not kind to this ramp, Lake Travis needs to be close to full in order for it to be open...it is currently closed as I write this review.
Lake chop/wake doesn't impact this ramp.
This ramp can be busy but not too bad, decent traffic. Helps to have this open to relieve the traffic at Marina ramp.

Read moreWe went there on the weekend, around 11 am. Not sure if it is private, but I think it’s an HOA thing. Not sure if I missed them, but I saw no signs and it was free to get in. This area never got crowded, there’s a very small parking lot and it never got full. Water was great, environment was perfectly secluded with an occasional party boat.
