I had the privilege to be part of two weddings in 6 days at Oakfuskee this spring. Both were absolutely beautiful! The venue is incredible: a romantic ceremony site under a gorgeous tree, large spaces for the bridal party to get ready in, and spacious reception room with floor to ceiling windows that offer a view of the sunset over the water. (Just another thing I happened to notice: the venue is very accessible and wheel-chair friendly with an elevator to take guests down to the ceremony site and wide sidewalks all the way to the guest seating.) Anna Knight planned/coordinated for both weddings and worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect and the day flowed smoothly. She communicated well with all of the vendors before the wedding day and was on her feet taking care of last minute details, the bridal party, guests, and vendors from the moment I saw her until well after I left. Very grateful for all of her help!

What a disappointment. I drove to Pyne Park because I remembered it being a nice large park where I had photographed osprey and other birds and wildlife. When I arrived, the majority of the park had been replaced by a giant building for the rich people to crow about. Gone were the Osprey nests and no trespassing signs had been posted on the grounds. A woman was standing at the entrance of the new building watching our every move to make sure we didn’t trespass onto their exclusive property. The only part of the people’s park that was left was a rundown picnic area at the end of the road. I guess that’s where the unrich...

I was the maid if honor at my girlfriend and my brothers wedding here. It was breath taking with the lake in the background. The brides room was large enough to accommodate 6 brides maids, 2 Jr brides maid, 2 flower girls and a slew of others. The kitchen was well equipped to handle everything we needed. Overall it was a wonderful venue and I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about getting married in or around the...
