I attended a Painting With a Twist event last night to paint a painting i really wanted to do - “Moon Phase Aurora” and had a blast! This was my second painting ever. Sure, I was a little intimidated at first, but Vicky made it fun and entertaining. She took that fear factor out of it and I feel like the painting came out pretty good. Most of all, it was fun. I've been twice now, once for a public class and then for my birthday party! The artwork selection for this place is very vast, so you're almost certain to find a class that suits you if you keep up with them on Facebook or their website. The instructor that taught my classes was the absolutey wonderful Sadie! She takes you through the artwork at a comfortable pace and plays corny little games to keep things entertaining. This was my first experience with PWAT and it did not disappoint. My instructor (Mae) was so attentive and made the session enjoyable. Myself along with a few coworkers went for a teacher appreciation event. It was workshop style so our paintings were all different.!
