As a dog owner, this park is a one star. And not even that. I am new to the area. I entered through the only set of gates that were open. I had my dog unloaded and was strolling the perimeter when I noted signage at a closed entrance that mandated NO DOGS ALLOWED. Looking over my shoulder for fear of getting a ticket, I hastily loaded my dog and left through the only open entrance that, by the way, had no clear signage stating dogs were not allowed. ย ย ย Read moreWe went to play the disc golf course and it was much better than expected. The park itself was pretty clean for what im used to seeing in kalamazoo and battle creek. The course was pretty well maintained other than brush off the fairway could be thinned on the front 9 but it adds to the difficulty. The woods were swampy and mosquito laden but with the rain we've had what do you expect with standing water on fairways. There were a couple grad parties going on and people walking and other than a few passersby we were able to enjoy a day without much interaction with others...

Great disc golf community in the area and great club that takes ownership of the course. The course host league and a variety of tournaments throughout the year. Park/course does get wet and flooded as certain parts of the year but progress as been made it make this better in the last few years. Bathrooms and porta johns in the park...
