It's a great playground with shade. Lot's of people throw birthday parties here but table space is limited. It's certainly very overwhelmed with birthday parties so when you show up at 10:30 and people have been there since 8:00 AM holding down tables don't get mad. Bring your own tables and chairs. I've seen some people have birthday parties 🎁🎂 out the back of cars. Saturday is the worst day to do birthday parties here. No one really thinks to throw them on Sundays so the parks mostly empty then. Also Youngs Park is better for birthday parties because it's less crowded and more table space.

All-Trails is right to label this place a hidden gem. The main space has several covered spaces with pic-nic tables. A large playground and several walking trails. The mapping is a little confusing and parts of the trails are closed during certain seasons the place has beautiful sceneries of a few varieties of Florida all in one spot. There's even a covered/screened space that looks perfect for a wedding. Plus a boat ramp for kayaks.

This is more of a little kid playground, it was not challenging for my 11 yr, my 2 year could solve all of the activities. There were a lot of kids at the playground so the kids found good social time. Playground was clean and in good repair. Woodchips on the ground except for the small sand digging area. Lots of grass the kids could run in also. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. Parking was free and easy .

The scenery was amazing and just what me and a friend needed after a tough work week and my friend getting into an accident that needed some fresh air. However, the guy that I guess is the over-seer was so rude. We didn't have our phones because they died on the way there. So after walking the trails we notice it was late and headed back. The gate was closed and we found the guy and he was so rude to us and I explained that we saw him driving on the Ranger and waved to him but he didn't not once tell us that we should held back. Not only that but it was clear that there was a vehicle left in the parking lot so why not look for us, what if one of us was hurt out there. I was super nice and apologized and told him about our phones but he was just throwing out rude accusations. Just very unprofessional and...

It's a breath of fresh air in a semi urban town setting. Also an added bonus is it is NOT a dog park! Yes your dog is not allowed. It's a relief for those who are not so at ease with large dogs being around their children or close in proximity. The lake and riding trails are scenic and have a lot of natural wonder to appreciate. The small boat/ kayak launch is easy to access load and unload your rig. The more I visit this park the more I like it. Also the grounds keepers do a very thorough job of keeping the place tity and litter free. Take the family and escape the screens and hum of the city and get out there and see it for...

This is a great park for nature/birding walks, jogs, or bike rides. There is a disk golf course (I think that is what its called). The water is lower than usual right now, but still plenty of birds. I have seen a few warblers, blacked crowned night heron, marsh wren, white pelicans, wood storks, glossy ibis, Downey woodpecker, tree swallows, and many more. Many covered picnic tables for get togethers and clean bathrooms. Plenty of picturesque live oaks with Spanish moss floating in the breeze. Also, has a boat ramp to put in your fishing boat, kayak or canoe. Overall, this is a great park to visit for diverse tastes...
