I found out that Forest Park beach went from charging $15/weekends to $25/every day. It doesn’t seem very inclusive to do this. We are a neighboring community that has several homes with Lake Forest addresses as well. I have 3 children. We enjoyed going to the beach on a weekday when little to no people are there and you are now charging me $100 to go to the beach for an hour?? We live 15 minutes away! Why make it so expensive for neighboring communities to enjoy some time on the beach? This makes me so disappointed. The parking situation already made non residents walk two miles to get to the beach and back. This change speaks volumes on the values your community upholds and it’s sad and disappointing...
