Our favorite place to adventure! Mother nature has quite the personality with her humor lol check out the rock I got to stare at fishing πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ We camped for 4 days up above the canyon in the dispersed camping area. We had a huge site, plenty of space with privacy and space between us and the next site. We easily could have fit 15 people! It was a 10 min slow beautiful bumpy ride down to the canyon where we fished and tubed down the river. There are many picnic areas and grills to cook. The bathrooms are clean and they supply enough toilet paper (thank goodness) so we’re not having to drip dry πŸ˜‰. Everyone is so kind, all there to enjoy themselves. Parking is $10 per day at the canyon so bring cash! Plenty of parking and little coves to cozy up in. Bring a hammock! Lots of big trees to hang around in. Fly fishing seems to be the best catches of the day! We caught a couple little guys. It’s great for a day trip or overnight! There are campsites available close to the river as well that you can pay for with bathrooms if you do not prefer dispersed camping. I have detailed directions to our site if you ever want to experience the same trip! Happy...

First things first, the fishing here is off the hook! 🎣 Eleven Mile Canyon is like a secret club for trout - they're practically lining up to get caught by eager anglers like us! It's like they've got a sign saying, "Free bait buffet - all you can eat!" 🍽️

And let me tell you, these trout are real comedians! 🀣 They put on an Oscar-worthy performance when they see a lure coming their way. "Oh no, not that one again, Jerry! Act like you didn't see it!" 😜 They've got us laughing so hard we almost forgot about fishing - almost!

But jokes aside, the canyon itself is a hidden gem. The pristine waters, the lush greenery, and those breathtaking rock formations make it feel like Mother Nature is showing off her best works of art! 🎨🌿

The hiking trails are perfect for a little cardio between fishing bouts. We even made up fisherman jokes to keep the laughter flowing as we explored. "Why did the fish blush? Because it saw the ocean's bottom!" πŸ˜‚

Oh, and the wildlife! 🦌 It's like a real-life zoo out there - only without the fences. We spotted deer doing a runway show and chipmunks staging their own Olympic...

Beautiful area! The only reasons it’s not five stars is because it is highly populated and dusty!

It cost $11 to get in, cash or check only at the little fee booth. There’s only day passes. Nine miles of river front that dead ends at the dam and utilities.

The river and rock formations are astoundingly beautiful. The road runs directly along the river and there are tons of places to pull out and go down to the water. The negative is the dust. People do not drive slowly on the road and they kick up a ton of dust. The utilities trucks are especially dusty. So once you park, get down off the road quickly.

There were a lot of people on the weekday in early August that we went. People swimming, fishing, camping, etc. It is mot a secret or solitude-seeking place. As far as fishing goes, we tried for a while and saw a few fish in the areas we stopped, but they are well trained and it is clear that the river...
