Avalon Park — Attraction in Lake Havasu City

My 75 lb Labradoodle loves it and there's plenty of room to get a run going. The gate is a ways from the parking lot and he pulls HARD on the leash because he's excited to get in (so this is a struggle for me ) There were an average of 8 dogs there, all varieties and temperaments. When you bring your dog here you have to be prepared for an altercation and all parties involved need to realize it's not ONE dog's fault. "My dog is not aggressive" is everyone's mantra but it's not always true in a situation where there are so many canine personalities. You and your dog have to go to these dog parks with the idea that it's not always going to be peaceful. This is my favorite dog park in Lake Havasu City so far. There are pools for the dogs to play in, benches to take a load off, a set of tunnels for the dogs to practice agility, and plenty of donated bags and shovels for picking up after your dogs. The trees that have been planted should offer plenty of shade after they grow a bit. Have been going to this park for a couple of months to use the dog park. I really liked the park, BUT there has been no water for the dogs for 5 days. Calls have been made to parks department and police department. No results. Taking bottled water with me for the dogs to drink. Some of the other doggie parents also have been bringing water.
