This ramp is free which in my opinion is the reason why I would call this launch ramp the best one in Havasu the main issued problem at this ramp is on spring summer and all the other warm season Holliday's the ramp fills by 11:30a.m-12:00p.m and this ramp needs the alegie wire brushed off the ramp because it's way to slick and your vehicle can loose tractions and you can end up a little to deep in the water for some vehicles so you got to put the peddle to the metal and get the alegie off by spinning your tires that seems to work for the driver's of my group Everytime where I've seen other people not put the pedal to the metal and end up in the lake you could also bring your own with brush and give the alegie a quick run over which wouldn't take you more than five minutes.

Great place to launch a boat. It has a wide driveway to pull a fairly large boat and get it lined up to launch. We have a 23 ft Pontoon boat and I easily launched it . This was on a week day so NO ONE WAS THERE. The parking lot is easy to park vehicles with big trailers. There are restrooms that were clean , they also have a cleaning station to clean your fish , instead of making that mess at home !!! Their set up is way better. The docks are well light an have pole holders so if your using 2 poles. Always clean . We have been going there for 15 + years.

The fishing was good for strippers today and the area (restrooms, fish cleaning, yard, docks) where clean and refreshing like always. They do a fantastic job on the maitaince for the site . I Thank the crew for the job well done and keep it up please, everyone enjoys it even though you probably never hear it.

The good part is it's free. It's fairly protected from wind because it's between a building and a hill. There are plenty of dumpsters so bring your trash back to the launch and plenty of room to wipe down and pull the plug. The bad starts with no control so everyone can do what they want which is okay most of the time, but some don't know what they are doing or etiquette to get done and move on. Next, the ramp is steeper than the rest, go slow backing in or your truck will also be a boat. The algae isn't cleaned off and since there is shade all afternoon it doesn't dry out. Wear shoes with traction or plan on falling. 4wd is almost mandatory to get a boat out of the water. Have fun, but...

I launched at this site for the very first time late Saturday afternoon. Even at this time, it was busy. There are 3 lanes. If someone inexperienced is launching, there may only be room for 2. I launched fine and luckily when I trailered back up, I was able to get the middle lane. The side lanes can be slippery as I witnessed even large, beefy trucks have their tires spin, causing tons of smoke and giving a great show to the multitude of people who bring their chairs just to come and watch. If you're experienced, you shouldn't have any problems. If you're new, spend the $20 and launch at the marina. A lot easier and you won't have a crowd watching and waiting for you to...
