Broemmelsiek Dog Park — Attraction in Lake Saint Louis

Still large, but not what it was. The pond and all equipment have been removed and the popularity has plummeted. On a recent midday Saturday trip (with nice weather), there was only one other dog there and that was just for the first 10 minutes.

I believe the park has just recently reopened (as of August '25) and a good chunk is still blocked by temporary orange fencing (including making the one faucet slightly out of reach), so hoping some improvements are still to come, but there are no signs or other communication about if/what/when...

Used to be five star, even six. Even without the lake it was the best place in my opinion. Now it's been closed for a while. It would be nice for an update on the website so I'm not sitting here waiting for the rainout page to change. Any explanation would be appreciated. Isn't that what the website is there for.
