We love this lake. No wake until 11in the morning and after 8 at night so that people can fish or kayak. Between 11-8 it's an all sports lake. Lots of water skiing, wakeboarding, jet skis, etc. This is a great lake to swim in, lots of sandy beach areas to swim and play in or bring a boat out to the deep areas to swim. There's a public beach area that anyone can go to and a campground that I have seen campers and tents at. Also lots of cottages and cabins. For the 4th of July there's amazing fireworks over the lake starting around 10, either the weekend before or after the holiday. There's also a boat parade that day and all the cottages have bonfires and shoot of fireworks late...

Its where children grew up, learned to swim, shot off their first firework, went tubing, boating and fishing.
Its where those same children, years later, take their own children now to experience those same memories.

Boat launch can handle a 25' boat without needing a degree in astral physics. Pere Marquette river is also close by for canoers and kayakers. No wakes allowed between 7 pm and 11 am, so you can enjoy a quiet morning...
