This is my family's 3rd year in a row coming to Bloom Hill for u-pick flowers! We have been looking forward to this trip for awhile. We understand that this was the 1st year at the new location to host the u-pick (smaller flower field to be expected) but this time around was a different experience compared to the previous years. Not only do you not get glass Mason jars anymore for your flowers, but now you receive a standard size PLASTIC drinking cup. The plastic was absolutely terrible to arrange any kind of flower arrangement. The flowers are so big and heavy (which is what we love) that they tip over the cup instantly! It wasn't just us either, surrounding guests also had the same problem. Water spilling all over themselves, the table, chairs etc. We reached a point where we had to just give up on the water and dump it all out. You think with having the water out would be easier to make your arrangement, nope. Still, the flowers were a pain in the butt to even force them into such a short and small plastic cup. The old Mason jars were PERFECT for arrangements. Glass, so it's nice and heavy for the flowers to stand up in, has support! Has a nice big opening up top to fit in as much flowers as possible. Also held the water without constantly tipping over to make a mess. We were extremely disappointed receiving the cup instead of Mason Fars. A couple of months ago I saw a post that said we would be getting vases, not cups? Showed a picture of a tall purple glass vase, not black cups. After several attempts to stand the cup up and actually make a real arrangement, I gave up. I had to take my flowers home to make an arrangement with my own glass vase. By the time I got home from the 30 minute drive, my flowers were wilted. Hopefully they perk up tomorrow! wish the cups with water worked! was definitely a no go. My kiddos were also disappointed that the Kona ice truck never showed up when on there event page it said Kona Ice was suppose to be there. The flower field was also half the size of the original location. We definitely understand that it's the 1st year at this new place, so it's not going to be exactly the same space, but it was still not the same experience đ˘ I truly hope by next year they change the cups to glass jars again or actual glass vases, has more fields of flowers, and the food trucks listed as promised. Or simply have it back at the original location. We do love BloomHill so much! We have given PLENTY of our money to them over the years to have a good time and make memories, we still want to do u-pick in the future. Just hope those problems...

Read moreOver the past couple years, I have loved getting flowers from Bloom Hill. I received a spring subscription a few months ago as a gift from my husband and excitedly picked the first bouquet up last Thursday. While I was doing so, I noticed that my daughter's name was on the list. She lives in Vermont, so I called her, and she confirmed that she had indeed ordered a spring subscription for me for Mother's Day. The next day (Friday), I called Bloom Hill, explained that I did not need two bouquets each week, and requested that they cancel one of the subscriptions and move it to a summer subscription instead. I explained that I would gladly pay for the second bouquet that I had already picked up and for any additional cost of the summer subscription. The person I spoke with on Friday told me that she would have to speak to the owner and would get "right back to me". Today is Wednesday, and I still had not heard from her, so I called Bloom Hill again. After she put me on hold, she came back on, and I was told that they could not do what I had requested and that I would just have to accept two bouquets a week. I am disappointed that they did not "get right back to me" as promised, and am flabbergasted at their unwillingness to make the change that I requested. Unfortunately, it appears that their business has grown too large to care about their customers. As a result, our family will no longer do business...
