Stopped by to camp one night at Sandy Shore. I enjoyed the lake view, as there was a beautiful sunset reflected in the lake that day, and the night-view of little gleaming lights scattered across the edge of the lake was very pretty. There was a strong wind at night and it was very cold, especially in the early morning (as is to be expected in spring weather), but the fresh air was invigorating and the sounds of the lake and the birds were really nice. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have been coming here for 25 years. Every year it gets worse and worse as far as the locals hogging every inch of the place. This year we can't even swim in front of our camper because there is NO room for us. The park staff let the locals park in the empty camping spots and use them.... without paying. Then when people who actually rented the sit come, there is no room for them. It used to be our favorite place, now we don't even know if we will come back again. The locals totally ruin it for people trying to enjoy camping and the park staff...
