⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ THIS IS WHAT I LIVE FOR. 😭💙 If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. Ten out of ten. A thousand out of ten. There are not enough stars to express what Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park gave me—not just an amazing day, but something soul-deep. Something life-affirming. Something I almost never find in this world as a physically disabled person who craves adventure. I’m not just someone who enjoys movement—I need it. I need the thrill of motion, the emotional release that comes from activity, the grounding that comes with pushing my body in whatever way I can. But finding places that understand that, that welcome that, and that actually provide safe, inclusive access to real adventure is nearly impossible. At Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park, I didn’t have to fight to be included—I already was. I didn’t have to prove myself, explain myself, or justify why I wanted to participate. No one looked at my wheelchair or support needs and paused. They looked at me and said: “Hell yes, let’s do it.” 🙌 And they meant it with their whole hearts. From the moment I arrived, the entire experience was seamless, welcoming, and filled with enthusiasm. Their adaptive setup is thoughtful, professional, and built into the core of what they do—not a side feature, not a half-effort, not a reluctant accommodation. It’s part of the core values of the park. That alone is worth shouting from the rooftops. Every single person on staff showed up with compassion, confidence, knowledge, and pure excitement. There was no awkwardness. No hesitation. No pity. Just celebration. Just joy. They saw me. They treated me with dignity, warmth, and enthusiasm. They didn’t ask if I could keep up—they made sure I could fly. 💙 Their 1400 ft. dual zip line—gliding from the top of a Lake Michigan sand dune and soaring through the forest—was one of the most electrifying, freeing, and healing things I’ve ever done. 🌲☀️💨 I’ve never experienced this level of inclusion and excellence anywhere else in the world. And I’ve traveled. I’ve tried. I’ve faced so many barriers, even in places that claimed to be accessible. But this place didn’t just meet the standard—they redefined it. Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park is hands-down the BEST business I’ve ever encountered for adaptive recreation. They deserve every honor, every grant, every spotlight, every ounce of praise. What they are doing is more than business—it’s a movement. It’s a model. It’s the future of what recreation should look like: accessible, thrilling, inclusive, human. They don’t just make space. They make belonging. They don’t just accommodate. They invite, empower, and celebrate. That kind of environment is revolutionary. I left feeling more like myself than I have in a long time. Not limited. Just me. Laughing. Soaring. Alive. 💫 So if you’re even remotely considering a visit—go. GO. GO. GO. Whether you’re disabled or not, whether you’re local or driving across the state—you will not regret it. The memories you’ll make here? They’re life-changing. To Daniel Bonner and the entire team at Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park: Thank you for giving me a day of joy. Thank you for giving me space without apology. Thank you for giving me permission to live boldly. And thank you for reminding me that my body is still capable of adventure, thrill, and belonging. I’ll be back. Again and again. This place is a treasure. And I will never stop recommending it to anyone and everyone I meet. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We feel this review will not do justice to the staff at Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park and the opportunities they created for our group. You just have try it! We have a highly active, adventurous loved one with significant autism and developmental disabilities who loves participating in all types of rides and just wants do things like everyone else. We had been desiring for years for him to try a Zip Line but didn't think it was possible until now. It is with tears of joy that I write this review.

We decided to try Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park due to what we read online. When we inquired about the disability accommodations at Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park for our son, they immediately put us in good hands with Dan and Luke, their Outdoor Adventure Specialists. They were mindful to think of all the details and to work with his abilities to provide him with the supports and sense of security so he could show everyone, (and more importantly, himself) what he could do, just like everyone else in the group! He not only 'tried' the Luge and Zip line, but asked to ride them over and over again!

Dan and Luke provided him with an opportunity of a lifetime.

It is because of their care and expertise that the entire family had a great time on the Luge and the Zip Line! We now know that our son despite his disabilities "can do" given the right supports and environment.

If you are a parent or family with a loved one with special needs who has an adventurous spirit and desires an inclusive outdoor experience, please come here and make sure your phone is charged for lots of videos and photos. The family season pass makes these smiles and opportunities affordable and accessible year-round which we sought out immediately.

The confidence and ability our autistic son acquired from our day here in this inclusive community environment has been so valuable as he creates a meaningful life of activities he enjoys and can participate in. As a parent of an individual with autism, these opportunities are so precious. We highly recommend for families with special needs to come here and ask for Dan or Luke!

Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park is special not only because of the variety of their outdoor opportunities, but also because of the owners and their caring staff who ensure a positive experience for all. They made our son feel like everyone else,...

Thrilling Adventure at Muskegon Luge Zip Line: A Must-Try Experience

As a Muskegon local and an outdoors enthusiast, I recently had the chance to experience the Muskegon Luge Zip Line at the Winter Sports Complex. It's been a hidden gem in our community, open for almost three years, yet it only just came onto my radar. I'm here to tell you, it's an experience you don't want to miss!

The zip line itself is an impressive 1400 feet long, offering a unique perspective of our beautiful landscape. During my ride, I felt a rush of excitement as I reached speeds of nearly 25 mph. It's a thrilling experience that combines the beauty of Muskegon's natural scenery with the exhilaration of an adventure sport.

One of the highlights of my experience was the staff. They were not only friendly and enjoyable to interact with but also extremely professional when it came to safety. The equipment was in top-notch condition, and the staff took all the necessary precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. It's clear that safety is a top priority at the Muskegon Luge Zip Line, which adds an extra layer of confidence to the experience.

For those of you who are curious about what the ride actually looks like, I've got you covered. Attached to this review is a video of my zip line adventure. Through this video, you can get a real sense of the speed, the height, and the overall experience. It's one thing to read about it, but it's another to see it in action!

In conclusion, the Muskegon Luge Zip Line is an exhilarating experience that I highly recommend. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's a fantastic way to spend a winter day in Muskegon. It's an adventure that appeals to thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike. So, strap in, take a deep breath, and get ready for a ride you won't forget!
