This is perhaps my favorite park in the area when combined with Saugatuck Dunes SP, at their trails connect and you don't need the state park pass to park your car. The beach dunes are beautiful without the crowds that show up at Oval. The disc golf course is world class. Phenomenal examples of elevation and terrain changes. Everything from tree alleys, to high plateaus, sand dunes and prairie grasses. The spring wildflowers and fall colors add to the beauty of the course. There are a couple places where you could get confused on the next tee so take a picture of the course map with you. Also keep your eyes out for prickly...

We came here to play disc golf. The holes and baskets were difficult to navigate even with the U Disc app to help . There's a black and yellow easy or harder course with 2 baskets for each hole. When several baskets are near each other, we were confused where to aim. Much better to have a clear map posted at the beginning of the course. The baskets need larger clearer numbers too. Pros are the variety of holes between wooded and open and challenges and changes in elevations. Also...

The disc golf course is quite nice, and a lot of people seem to use this a place to cut across to the state park beach and trails without paying for a state park pass. Ahem I do have a pass I swear. Also there are prickly pears along the middle, so wear shoes and watch your step. The park is right up against the Felt Mansion which hosts events and is supposedly, "slightly haunted". I have yet to notice any such thing on the trails or golf course, so they must...

Excellent property. The disc golf course is fun and challenging. The scenery and nature is stunning and beautiful. There's a few nice hikes that you can do on the property as well which last you over the dunes and into the Lake Michigan beach. Well worth a visit.
