ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ. Wow, Lakeville has done it again, this park…. Where do I begin, this fine establishment is equipped with fantastic swings that don’t even squeak that much , which is an outstanding trait for something you will sit next to for a solid hour. The colors on this park are vibrant and fresh yet not tacky or over-the-top, it blends in with the surrounding browns and greens. The seating options seem endless, from park benches to tables you will not be disappointed. If you want to make it a lunch date with your kiddos their are ample tables, just want to sit and watch your heathens wild out on the slides, they have you covered for every angle. There is a nice plush mulch base and soft landing pads under swings, monkey bars and slides. The surrounding area is all soccer fields so while you let your kids wear themselves out you can sling a ball for your mutt and come out on the backside of the day with a quiet and worn down household. Bravo, to everyone involved with this park.

This park is super fun for kids of all ages. Tons of soccer fields, bathrooms that are open during peak summer months (cooler months had portal potties), a seated zip line, and tons of climbing/slides perfect for elementary aged kids. Benches and picnic tables are placed around the main playground - great for parents to chat while kids play. This has quickly become a new favorite park destination for my Kindergarten and First grade aged kids. Can get super busy weekend afternoons, but definitely worth adding to your park rotation!

The playground is one of the best in the south suburbs and is seemingly the flagship playground of the Lakeville parks system. I would consider it a large playground but not quite a destination playground. This is a busy place (it has been since I was a kid). There is one zip line, and there is a good network of platforms/smallish slides, etc. There are swings as well. Shade was limited. The sports fields were bustling when we were there, and the presence of a lot of people helps make it a pretty good atmosphere.

My daughter and I can't stop talking about how cool this park is. So unique. Basically the modern vision of what a park should be like today. And while I do have fond memories of the wood park that used to be here with all of its nooks and crannies, this new park is heads and shoulders better than the original. Every space is taken up by something and there are various ways you can climb, swing, slide, and otherwise traverse the heaping outdoor structure. It even has a zipline! Picnic tables, a covered pavilion, soccer fields, and paved pathways only add to the impressiveness of this park. Overall this is an awesome place to take your family and friends for a picnic with something for everyone to do on these gorgeous...

My kids ages 7, 8, 10 and 12 enjoy playing here. There are all kinds of fun things to do. The big draw the zip line, which big and little kids can do, although little kids will need help getting off and on. But there is always a line to get on. There are Bridges, swings (including a really cool one where Mom and baby can swing together, each in their own swing but attached so they swing together), slides, rope climbs, Merry-go-round, picnic tables, and lots of open fields around for kicking balls or flying kites. There's even a trail that runs by the playground, for walking or biking. The only drawback is keeping track of your kids when they're all over! Other than...
