International Supermarket — Attraction in Lakewood Township

The International Supermarket located on route 88/Main Street has really good quality products. When you walk in there you will find they have a variety of fresh produce, a large selection of deli/meat products, and their dairy section has a large selection of different products. Do not let the ambience of the supermarket fool you, this place is one of the good ones in town. The staff is nice, friendly, and they will try to help as much as possible. Depending on the day or week the prices of the avocados vary. Sometimes they have smaller avocados but charge less and sometimes they have lightly bigger avocados and they will charge a little more than normal, but what you see is what you get, and believe me, every penny is so worth it! I go there once a week to get avocados and some of their home made buns. Their avocados are one of the best I have ever tasted. They are super creamy and fresh and the staff makes sure to always keep the good avocados available to the customers. It is rare to find a bad avocado as I know some supermarkets do not know so much about what a good avocado is. I liked this super market very well stocked. If you can't find what your looking for here as far as latin/soul/ Asian/ white or any other heritage your shopping in the wrong market. They have fresh meats/tropical vegetables..fruits..spices..you name it !they have it! I will definitely make this my market of choice. PS: No one gave me a dirty look and I really wasn't shopping faces..justsaying! And by the way it was not A dirty place at all I guess it depends on how soft you are!

If I have any dislikes it definitely would be the cashier, I don't understand why so many folks write bad reviews about them yet nothing changes!

My opinion on the international supermarket and why they don’t deserve a 4.3 stars and here are my reasons: some of their employees are rude they don’t welcome their customers some of this employees even give you dirty looks, parking there is a nightmare They must have to improve their hygiene standards and give this place a little update as well too dark and disorganized.
