Ridiculously high bill for nothing! Went to the ER when they weren’t busy. Like no one in the waiting room, barely had to wait, not busy. My mom was worried about something small, but I knew I just needed antibiotics. Go in, see the doctor, he is in there for 5 minutes tops. He doesn’t even figure out what it is that’s wrong. He just gives me a prescription for antibiotics since that will most likely take care of it. Told me if not, come back. I get the antibiotics and pay for them at Walmart. So I took 5 minutes of a doctor’s time for him to tell me nothing, write a prescription, and get what I needed elsewhere. Got the bill a while later and it seemed extremely high for such a small visit. I called about it, asking what I was being charged for on there. Over $1300 of that bill what for “room and board” just for taking up a room when they weren’t full or busy enough to have to wait for one. For 5 minutes! Tried to see if there was anything that could be negotiated on since I thought that was an unfair amount for what it bought me. I was told that the only options I had were to pay in full, make payments, or maybe file some complaint about insufficient care that most likely won’t amount to anything because I was written a prescription. CBCH is a local hospital in a small town but they provide much needed services. I have used the therapy department on several occasions. They have very qualified therapists and the therapy room is well stocked with equipment and individual treatment rooms. All of the staff are professional and helpful. I've had knee injuries and shoulder injuries treated here. My wife and my children have used the ER department as well. Time from check in to triage is blazing compared to larger hospitals we have been to. Their treatment is appropriate and accurate. If you require more services then they have available you will be transferred to one of those larger hospitals.

Overall, the blessings of treatment here is priceless. There isn't any hospital that doesn't meet our expectations sometimes, depending on how much pressure we are under. Even so, I would never hesitate to use CBCH if I or my family has need. They virtually save my wife's life earlier this year. That alone is more than enough for my respect of...

I have been to this facility for a sonogram and the lady that worked with me was very rude!! I will not return to this place! I took my daughter to the ER and the lady in the ER was extremely rude.They called my daughter back to a room while I had stepped out of the lobby. I asked the lady in the ER if I could back with her and she said that she would check on it for me. She then checked in 4 more people that came in after they took my daughter back and I never made it back there with her. She was done by the time this lady got everyone checked in. She never apologized or anything. These kinds of people don't need to be working with patients. I will not go back to this place. I would not suggest being seen here.
